Appleton Private University se complace en anunciar el I Premio Appleton de Jóvenes Cineastas de Guiones de Cortos gracias a Paradox Film y a Z.G Fiction organizado con el fin de dar voz e impulsar a los jóvenes de la localidad de Marchena para que inicien y se impulsen en su carrera de cineastas.

Para ello, se presenta este premio consistente en la elaboración de un guión de cortometraje de temática libre y cuya finalidad del premio será la elaboración del corto por parte de Z.G Fiction y Paradox Film.

Pretendemos la realización de guiones de temática libre que exploren la diversidad humana y nos invite a reflexionar sobre el mundo que nos rodea. Dentro de la temática libre se acepta la ciencia ficción y lo parapsicológico para definir la transformación social a través del tiempo.

BASES:

Las bases para el mismo serán las siguientes:

Temática: libre.

Edades de participación en la realización de guiones: de 14 a 17 años.

Idioma: español.

Estructura del guión: se pretende la redacción de un guión de no más de 10 páginas en A4, con letra times 12, interlineado 1.5, sangrado justificado y estructura basada en los siguientes parámetros: no se considera la elaboración de un guión técnico específico oficial, sino de la redacción de un guión lineal y sin lagunas, que muestre la trama de la historia y describa a cada personaje o cada escenario. Se deberá acompañar con la storyboard de libre elección, valorándose la elección de planos y otros detalles artísticos.

El número de página deberá vincularse para la realización real de un cortometraje, en caso de ser premiados, de al menos 10 minutos de duración.

Se excluirán aquellos guiones en los que la finalidad sea la realización de un cortometraje de animación en cualquiera de sus vertientes.

Formato del guión: se deberán describir las escenas, a los protagonistas, estados de ánimos, marcar correctamente los diálogos, determinar los planos y establecer una duración temporal de cada uno de ellos, determinar la atmósfera, diurna o nocturna.

PREMIOS:

Paradox Film y Z.G Fiction, con el aval de Appleton Private University y la colaboración del Excmo. Ayto de Marchena, se complace en anunciar este gran evento juvenil, con un enfoque social y antropológico del cine, el cual se basa en las siguientes categorías de premios:

⸻ Primer Premio: Diploma y elaboración del Corto por parte de Z.G Fiction y Paradox Film con los protagonistas elegidos por el ganador/a, incluyendo ya la autorización de los padres, madres o tutores de cada menor participante.

⸻ Segundo Premio: Diploma y la posibilidad de acompañar al equipo organizador en un rodaje, con la participación de cada padre, madre o tutora.

⸻ Tercer Premio: Diploma.

Fechas: La entrega de premios se hará el próximo 11 de noviembre en la Sala del Centro Municipal de información y creación joven, en calle Carrera, 2 (Frente a Sala Carrera).

Appleton Private University is pleased to announce the 1st Appleton Prize for Young Filmmakers of Short Film Scripts, thanks to Paradox Film and Z.G Fiction, organized with the aim of giving voice and boosting young people from the town of Marchena to start and advance in their filmmaking careers.

To this end, this prize is presented, consisting of the creation of a short film script with a free theme, and the purpose of the prize will be the production of the short film by Z.G Fiction and Paradox Film.

We aim for the creation of scripts with free themes that explore human diversity and invite us to reflect on the world around us. Within the free theme, science fiction and the paranormal are accepted to define social transformation through time.

RULES:

The rules for the prize are as follows: Theme: Free. Age of participation in scriptwriting: 14 to 17 years old. Language: Spanish.

Script structure: The aim is the writing of a script no longer than 10 A4 pages, with Times New Roman 12 font, 1.5 line spacing, justified alignment, and a structure based on the following parameters: the creation of a specific official technical script is not considered, but rather the writing of a linear script without gaps, showing the plot of the story and describing each character or each setting. It must be accompanied by a storyboard of free choice, with the selection of shots and other artistic details being valued.

The number of pages should be linked to the actual production of a short film, if awarded, of at least 10 minutes in duration.

Scripts whose purpose is the creation of an animated short film in any of its forms will be excluded.

Script format: Scenes, protagonists, moods must be described, dialogues must be correctly marked, shots must be determined, and a temporal duration for each must be established, as well as determining the atmosphere (day or night).

PRIZES:

Paradox Film and Z.G Fiction, with the endorsement of Appleton Private University and the collaboration of the Honorable Marchena Town Council, are pleased to announce this great youth event, with a social and anthropological focus on cinema, which is based on the following prize categories: 

First Prize: Diploma and production of the Short Film by Z.G Fiction and Paradox Film with the protagonists chosen by the winner, including the authorization of the parents or guardians of each participating minor. 

Second Prize: Diploma and the possibility of accompanying the organizing team on a shoot, with the participation of each parent or guardian.  

Third Prize: Diploma.

Dates: The awards ceremony will take place on November 11th in the Hall of the Municipal Center for Youth Information and Creation, at Calle Carrera, 2 (Opposite Sala Carrera). 

Jury: Composed of film and anthropology professionals.
