Reunión en Villa Galilea aborda seguridad y presenta aplicación de emergencia "Protégeme"

Durante la tarde de ayer se llevó a cabo una significativa reunión en la sede de la Junta de Vecinos de Villa Galilea, en la cual participaron autoridades municipales, representantes de Carabineros, así como también actores del ámbito empresarial. 

El propósito del encuentro fue tratar temas relacionados con la seguridad del sector y discutir proyectos que contribuyan a mejorarla.

Uno de los momentos destacados de la jornada fue la presentación realizada por el ingeniero y experto en seguridad, Luis Antonio Mancilla Gómez, Director Especialista en Auditoría y Control Universitario de la APPLETON PRIVATE UNIVERSITY, representante de la empresa Redvoiss, desarrolladora de la aplicación Protégeme, y de la empresa Visión Futuro SPA, encargada de su comercialización y soporte técnico.Durante su exposición, el Sr. Mancilla explicó las funciones y ventajas de la aplicación Protégeme, una herramienta de botón de pánico diseñada para actuar en situaciones de emergencia.

A diferencia de otras soluciones del mercado, esta aplicación permite personalizar una amplia red de contactos, enviar alertas mediante llamadas y mensajes masivos, y geolocalizar al usuario en tiempo real, facilitando una rápida asistencia por parte de la comunidad. 

En un gesto de apoyo concreto a la seguridad vecinal, las empresas Redvoiss y Visión Futuro SPA realizaron una donación de 15 licencias de la aplicación a la comunidad de Villa Galilea. 

La actividad fue cerrada por la dirigente vecinal Sra. Maritza Etter, quien destacó la importancia de este tipo de encuentros que articulan esfuerzos entre el mundo público y privado, y reafirmó el compromiso del municipio para seguir apoyando iniciativas que fortalezcan la seguridad del sector.

Yesterday afternoon, a significant meeting took place at the Villa Galilea Neighborhood Council headquarters, with the participation of municipal authorities, representatives of Carabineros (Chilean police), as well as actors from the business sector.

The purpose of the meeting was to address issues related to sector security and to discuss projects that contribute to improving it.

One of the highlights of the day was the presentation by engineer and security expert, Luis Antonio Mancilla Gómez, Director Specialist in University Auditing and Control at APPLETON PRIVATE UNIVERSITY, representative of the company Redvoiss, developer of the Protégeme application, and of the company Visión Futuro SPA, in charge of its commercialization and technical support. During his presentation, Mr. Mancilla explained the functions and advantages of the Protégeme application, a panic button tool designed to act in emergency situations. Unlike other solutions on the market, this application allows users to personalize a wide network of contacts, send alerts via mass calls and messages, and geolocate the user in real-time, facilitating rapid assistance from the community.

In a concrete gesture of support for neighborhood security, the companies Redvoiss and Visión Futuro SPA made a donation of 15 licenses of the application to the Villa Galilea community.

The activity was closed by neighborhood leader Mrs. Maritza Etter, who emphasized the importance of this type of meeting that articulates efforts between the public and private sectors, and reaffirmed the municipality's commitment to continue supporting initiatives that strengthen sector security.
