¡Un Milagro en Madera: Gracias, Archimago Doktor Munuera!

Queridos hermanos y hermanas de la Muy Ilustre y Arcana Cofradía del Batín y las Zapatillas, y al público en general que hoy nos honra con su presencia virtual.

Hoy, mi corazón rebosa de gratitud y mi ego se ha inflado como un souflé ante la generosidad desbordante del ilustrísimo y arcano Dr. José Luis Munuera, nuestro inigualable Archimago Doktor, estandarte inmortal de nuestra venerable hermandad.

Este artista, investigador y, admitámoslo, a veces "gruñón" (¡pero con un corazón de oro y un talento de otro mundo!), ha tenido a bien honrarme con un dibujo sobre madera. Y no cualquier dibujo, damas y caballeros, sino uno que ha obrado un verdadero milagro. Porque, ¿cómo decirlo sin sonar vanidoso? ¡Me ha dibujado más guapo! Sí, han leído bien. El buen Doctor, con la pericia de un alquimista y la visión de un profeta, ha logrado transmutar mi humilde semblante en una versión mejorada, más apolínea y, sin duda, digna de figurar en el Olimpo de los mortales.

No sé si ha sido por un súbito arrebato de inspiración divina, por el influjo benéfico de alguna gárgola ancestral que vela por el Doctor en su taller (¡esas criaturas tienen sus trucos, lo sé!), o simplemente porque su maestría es tan grande que es capaz de encontrar la belleza hasta en una patata. Lo cierto es que el resultado es asombroso.

Así que, desde lo más profundo de mi ser, y con la humildad que me caracteriza (a pesar de mi recién estrenada belleza pictórica), quiero extender mi más sincero y profundo agradecimiento a nuestro querido Archimago Doktor José Luis Munuera. Gracias por el arte, gracias por el humor, gracias por la generosidad y, sobre todo, ¡gracias por el milagro!

Este dibujo no es solo una obra de arte; es un testimonio de la amistad, del talento inconmensurable de Munuera y de esa capacidad única que tiene para sacarnos una sonrisa, incluso cuando suelta alguna de sus "gruñonadas" habituales.

Larga vida al Dr. Munuera, a sus pinceles, a sus investigaciones y a su batín, que sin duda guarda los secretos de su magia.

Dear brothers and sisters of the Most Illustrious and Arcane Confraternity of the Dressing Gown and Slippers, and to the general public who honor us with their virtual presence today.

Today, my heart overflows with gratitude and my ego has puffed up like a soufflé at the overwhelming generosity of the most illustrious and arcane Dr. José Luis Munuera, our unparalleled Archimage Doktor, immortal standard-bearer of our venerable brotherhood.

This artist, researcher, and, let's admit it, sometimes "grumpy" (but with a heart of gold and a talent from another world!), has seen fit to honor me with a drawing on wood. And not just any drawing, ladies and gentlemen, but one that has worked a true miracle. For, how can I say it without sounding vain? He has drawn me handsomer! Yes, you read that right. The good Doctor, with the skill of an alchemist and the vision of a prophet, has managed to transmute my humble countenance into an improved, more Apollonian version, and, undoubtedly, worthy of appearing on the Mount Olympus of mortals.

I don't know if it was due to a sudden burst of divine inspiration, the beneficial influence of some ancient gargoyle watching over the Doctor in his studio (those creatures have their tricks, I know!), or simply because his mastery is so great that he can find beauty even in a potato. What is certain is that the result is astonishing.

So, from the bottom of my heart, and with the humility that characterizes me (despite my newly acquired pictorial beauty), I want to extend my most sincere and profound gratitude to our dear Archimage Doktor José Luis Munuera. Thank you for the art, thank you for the humor, thank you for the generosity, and above all, thank you for the miracle!

This drawing is not just a work of art; it is a testament to friendship, to Munuera's immeasurable talent, and to that unique ability he has to bring a smile to our faces, even when he lets out one of his usual "grumpy remarks."
