Estimada Comunidad de Appleton Private University, estimados colaboradores y amigos,
Es para mí un inmenso honor y una profunda satisfacción dirigirme a ustedes en este momento tan significativo para nuestra institución. Con gran alegría, les informo que Appleton Private University ha obtenido la prestigiosa acreditación de la International Association for Quality Assurance in Pre-Tertiary & Higher Education (QAHE). Este reconocimiento no es solo un sello de calidad, sino la confirmación de que el arduo trabajo, la dedicación incansable y la visión compartida de nuestra comunidad están dando frutos tangibles y de impacto global.
Este logro es el resultado de un esfuerzo colectivo extraordinario. Desde nuestros inicios, hemos asumido un compromiso firme con la excelencia académica y, lo que es igualmente crucial, con la accesibilidad a la educación de calidad para todos. Es con gran orgullo que puedo afirmar que, gracias al inquebrantable apoyo de nuestros colaboradores, al talento y la pasión de nuestro cuerpo docente y personal administrativo, y a la resiliencia de nuestros estudiantes, hemos podido materializar el sueño de ofrecer clases gratuitas a aquellos que más lo necesitan. Este modelo, pionero y desafiante, ha sido un pilar fundamental de nuestra identidad y un testimonio de nuestra profunda responsabilidad social.
La rigurosa evaluación de QAHE ha validado no solo la solidez de nuestro currículo y la innovación de nuestro enfoque educativo, sino también nuestra dedicación a valores esenciales como la inclusión, el pluralismo, el respeto a la diversidad y la promoción de los derechos humanos. El hecho de que QAHE haya destacado nuestra visión de ser una "Universidad Gratuita" para quienes lo necesitan, subraya que nuestro compromiso con la equidad educativa resuena a nivel internacional como un pilar de la educación superior de alta calidad.
Este nuevo reconocimiento por parte de QAHE nos sitúa, sin lugar a dudas, entre las instituciones de alta calidad a nivel global. Es una validación externa de que la experiencia educativa que proporcionamos es transformadora, integral y prepara a nuestros estudiantes para ser líderes y ciudadanos íntegros en un mundo en constante cambio.
Quiero expresar mi más sincero agradecimiento a cada uno de ustedes: a nuestros profesores, cuyo compromiso con la enseñanza y la investigación es ejemplar; a nuestro personal, cuya dedicación hace posible el funcionamiento diario de nuestra universidad; a nuestros estudiantes, por su confianza, su esfuerzo y su sed de conocimiento; y, de manera muy especial, a todos nuestros colaboradores, cuyo apoyo incondicional ha sido la fuerza motriz detrás de nuestras iniciativas, especialmente en la provisión de educación gratuita.
Este es solo el comienzo. This achievement is the result of an extraordinary collective effort. From our inception, we have made a firm commitment to academic excellence and, equally crucial, to accessibility to quality education for all. It is with great pride that I can affirm that, thanks to the unwavering support of our collaborators, the talent and passion of our faculty and administrative staff, and the resilience of our students, we have been able to materialize the dream of offering free classes to those who need them most. This pioneering and challenging model has been a fundamental pillar of our identity and a testament to our deep social responsibility.
QAHE's rigorous evaluation has validated not only the robustness of our curriculum and the innovation of our educational approach but also our dedication to essential values such as inclusion, pluralism, respect for diversity, and the promotion of human rights. The fact that QAHE has highlighted our vision of being a "Gratuita University" (Free University) for those in need underscores that our commitment to educational equity resonates internationally as a pillar of high-quality higher education.
This new recognition from QAHE undoubtedly places us among high-quality institutions globally. It is an external validation that the educational experience we provide is transformative, comprehensive, and prepares our students to be leaders and integral citizens in a constantly changing world.
I want to express my most sincere gratitude to each of you: to our professors, whose commitment to teaching and research is exemplary; to our staff, whose dedication makes the daily operation of our university possible; to our students, for their trust, their effort, and their thirst for knowledge; and, very especially, to all our collaborators, whose unconditional support has been the driving force behind our initiatives, particularly in providing free education.
