2. Antecedentes
La Appleton Private University, en su compromiso con el desarrollo académico, deportivo y personal de su comunidad estudiantil, ha decidido formalizar la creación de un equipo de baloncesto 3x3. Este equipo, que se denominará "Appleton Crows 3x3 Basketball", funcionará inicialmente como un departamento interno de la universidad.
Este Acta de Constitución tiene como objetivo establecer la creación del equipo, definir su estructura inicial y sentar las bases para su posible evolución a una entidad con personalidad jurídica propia en el futuro, en el momento en que se cumplan los requisitos legales aplicables.
3. Objeto del Acta
Se constituye formalmente el equipo de baloncesto Appleton Crows 3x3 Basketball, con el propósito de:
- Promover el deporte y el bienestar físico entre los miembros de la comunidad universitaria.
- Representar a la Appleton Private University en competencias locales, nacionales e internacionales de baloncesto 3x3.
- Fomentar los valores de disciplina, trabajo en equipo y sana competencia.
- Desarrollar un programa deportivo de alto rendimiento que atraiga a estudiantes-atletas.
4. Denominación y Naturaleza
El departamento se denominará "Appleton Crows 3x3 Basketball". En sus inicios, operará bajo la estructura y el amparo legal de la Appleton Private University. El Rector de la universidad será el responsable último de la supervisión y dirección del equipo.
5. Personalidad Jurídica Futura
Se deja constancia de que, a medida que el equipo se desarrolle y las circunstancias lo permitan, la Appleton Private University evaluará la posibilidad de que los Appleton Crows 3x3 Basketball adquieran una personalidad jurídica independiente. Esta transición se realizará en pleno cumplimiento de la legislación aplicable mediante la firma de los documentos legales pertinentes.
6. Estructura Inicial
- Dirección: La dirección del equipo estará a cargo de un Director Deportivo designado por el Rector de la Appleton Private University.
- Entrenadores: Se contratará a un cuerpo técnico calificado para dirigir y entrenar a los jugadores.
- Jugadores: El equipo estará conformado por estudiantes y/o miembros de la comunidad universitaria seleccionados a través de un proceso de pruebas y selección.
7. Aceptación y Firma
Yo, DR. JOSE M. CASTELO-APPLETON, en mi calidad de Rector de la Appleton Private University, firmo esta Acta de Constitución, dando fe de la creación formal de los Appleton Crows 3x3 Basketball como un departamento de la universidad, y me comprometo a brindar el apoyo necesario para su crecimiento y desarrollo.

2. Background
Appleton Private University, in its commitment to the academic, athletic, and personal development of its student community, has decided to formalize the creation of a 3x3 basketball team. This team, which will be named "Appleton Crows 3x3 Basketball", will initially function as an internal university department.
The purpose of this Act of Incorporation is to establish the team's creation, define its initial structure, and lay the groundwork for its possible evolution into a separate legal entity in the future, once the applicable legal requirements are met.
3. Purpose of the Act
The Appleton Crows 3x3 Basketball team is formally constituted for the purpose of:
- Promoting sports and physical well-being among members of the university community.
- Representing Appleton Private University in local, national, and international 3x3 basketball competitions.
- Fostering the values of discipline, teamwork, and healthy competition.
- Developing a high-performance sports program that attracts student-athletes.
4. Name and Nature
The department will be named "Appleton Crows 3x3 Basketball". Initially, it will operate under the structure and legal protection of Appleton Private University. The University's Rector will be ultimately responsible for the supervision and direction of the team.
5. Future Legal Status
It is noted that, as the team develops and circumstances permit, Appleton Private University will evaluate the possibility of the Appleton Crows 3x3 Basketball acquiring independent legal status. This transition will be carried out in full compliance with the applicable legislation and through the signing of the relevant legal documents.
6. Initial Structure
- Management: The team's management will be led by a Sports Director appointed by the Rector of Appleton Private University.
- Coaches: A qualified coaching staff will be hired to lead and train the players.
- Players: The team will be composed of students and/or members of the university community selected through a tryout and selection process.
7. Acceptance and Signature
I, DR. JOSE M. CASTELO-APPLETON, in my capacity as Rector of Appleton Private University, sign this Act of Incorporation, attesting to the formal creation of Appleton Crows 3x3 Basketball as a university department, and I commit to providing the necessary support for its growth and development.
