Hoy, "Historia de los Z.G: Fantasmas del Pasado" de David Mendoza, recibe el Cuarto Premio, destacando por su enfoque único y su poderosa narrativa.
El cortometraje sumerge al espectador en un universo de ciencia ficción donde la lucha por la justicia y la libertad adquiere una dimensión épica y profundamente humana. La trama sigue los pasos de Lucky, un miembro de los Z.G, una fuerza de élite conocida como los "Zorros Gedeones del Universo". Estos guerreros de las sombras, expertos en combate cuerpo a cuerpo, se vieron obligados a abandonar la Tierra tras la invasión del opresor Ejército Azul, jurando regresar para liberar su planeta natal.
"Historia de los Z.G: Fantasmas del Pasado" presenta a Lucky en una situación límite: capturado y torturado por mercenarios, logra escapar y busca refugio en un bosque, mientras es implacablemente perseguido. La acción se entrelaza con flashbacks que exploran el melancólico pasado de Lucky, sus motivaciones para unirse a la lucha y la dolorosa pérdida de su amada. A pesar de las heridas físicas y emocionales, Lucky personifica la resiliencia y la esperanza, preparándose para continuar la batalla.

The I Paradox Film International Short Film Festival enthusiastically announces the winners of its first edition, recognizing excellence and creativity in the field of short film. Today, "History of the Z.G: Ghosts of the Past" by David Mendoza, receives the Fourth Prize, standing out for its unique approach and powerful narrative.
The short film immerses the viewer in a science fiction universe where the struggle for justice and freedom takes on an epic and profoundly human dimension. The plot follows the steps of Lucky, a member of the Z.G, an elite force known as the "Gideon Foxes of the Universe." These shadow warriors, experts in hand-to-hand combat, were forced to abandon Earth after the invasion of the oppressive Blue Army, vowing to return to liberate their home planet.
"History of the Z.G: Ghosts of the Past" presents Lucky in a critical situation: captured and tortured by mercenaries, he manages to escape and seeks refuge in a forest, while being relentlessly pursued. The action is intertwined with flashbacks that explore Lucky's melancholic past, his motivations for joining the fight, and the painful loss of his beloved. Despite the physical and emotional wounds, Lucky embodies resilience and hope, preparing to continue the battle.
