Appleton Private University is proud to introduce Prof. Dr. Buhari Isah as its new Vice Rector of Strategic Planning and Institutional Development. Prof. Isah is a distinguished global advocate for peace and human rights, whose work has transcended borders, positively impacting communities around the world.

Recognized for his tireless defense of world peace, social justice, humanitarian activities, diplomacy, the fight against racism, assistance in crisis situations, and the promotion of educational development, Prof. Isah brings a wealth of experience and an unwavering commitment to our institution.

An Impressive Career Trajectory

Prof. Isah, originally from Nigeria and a member of the Hausa ethnicity, was born and raised in Dole-Moriki, in the Zamfara state. His outstanding academic background includes doctorates in International and Diplomatic Cooperation Sciences, English Language, Martial Arts, and Social Work.

In addition to his academic degrees, Prof. Isah has participated in a wide range of professional training with renowned organizations such as UNICEF, Amnesty International, the World Health Organization, and the United States Institute of Peace, among others. This multidisciplinary training has provided him with deep knowledge in areas such as humanitarian action, human rights, emergency response, and peacebuilding.

Prof. Isah has also been honored with various honorary doctorates from institutions around the world, recognizing his exceptional contribution to peace, human rights, and humanitarian service.

Global Leadership and Affiliations

His leadership extends beyond the academic sphere, including significant roles such as Director of International Diplomatic Worldwide Nations of GOV IUKAC, King Naladuta of the Kutai Mulawarman Kingdom in Indonesia, and Grand Knight Order of Tinerfe Elgrande Guan Achinech of the Royal House of Uruguay.
